Strong boards require both professional insight and human judgement
For more than ten years, Board Institute has trained some of Denmark’s most committed leadership and board professionals. As a board member, you are responsible for the decisions the board makes, and for acting when the company’s circumstances demand it. At the same time, the demands keep growing: new technology is changing business models, regulation is sharpening accountability, and owners expect the board to see change coming.
But responsibility is only one side. A capable board can be one of a company’s strongest driving forces: it sharpens the strategy, qualifies the big decisions and turns the owners’ ambitions into a clear direction. That takes insight into company law, finance, strategy and technology, along with an understanding of the interplay between board, owners and management. Board Institute is founded by Jackie Phillip, Supreme Court Attorney.
10+ years
Board education in Copenhagen and Aarhus, plus international cohorts in Tórshavn, Nuuk and Málaga.
